Peggy Ployhar is the owner and head instructor of Eternal Aerial Arts, where she teaches aerial silks, lyra, hammock, rope, bungee, and loops — and coaches the studio's elite competition team, the Ethereal Flight Squad, chasing new heights together.

Peggy didn't come to aerial by the usual path — she took her first class at 48, fell in love, and never looked back. But everything before that turned out to be training for this. A physics degree means she can't help but see the beauty in the mechanics of a drop or a wrap — she loves helping students feel the "aha" moment when a move suddenly just clicks. Years of classical ballet and life as a college cheerleader and head cheer coach gave her an eye for grace, strength, and safe, joyful risk-taking. And two decades supporting special education homeschooling families, plus 19 years homeschooling her own kids to graduation, taught her something she brings into every single class: every student learns differently, and every single one of them is capable of something amazing.

Since that first class, Peggy has trained her way from total beginner to advanced aerialist and performer, and she pours everything she's learned along the way into her students — through the studio's kids' color-level progression, ensemble groups, and student showcases. She knows what it feels like to be the nervous beginner staring up at the silks, and she knows what it feels like on the other side of that fear, which is exactly why her students trust her to get them there too.

Today, Peggy leads Eternal Aerial Arts with equal parts precision and heart — cheering on every wobble, every breakthrough, and every flight.
